Beyond our passion for promoting cricket, we are deeply committed to supporting the underprivileged sections of society. Through various social welfare programs, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Our ongoing initiatives include free health check-up camps, eye check-ups and cataract surgeries, free distribution of medicines, pulse polio camps, scholarships for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds, financial assistance for the marriage of underprivileged girls, and symposiums on key social issues.
Our mission extends beyond sports, as we actively work towards eradicating poverty, abolishing child labor, promoting literacy, and instilling confidence among marginalized communities. We believe in fostering unity and cultural exchange, recognizing that shared thoughts and ideas contribute to global harmony.
In alignment with our vision, we have organized several seminars and workshops on cricket and broader social concerns. Notable events include the Indo-Pak Friendship Convention, which saw participation from renowned personalities from India and Pakistan, the Cricket Umpire Seminar led by international umpire K. Hariharan, and Personality Development Sessions aimed at empowering young athletes.
One of our most significant initiatives was the Symposium on Road to Development and Economic Progress. With industries in the region facing a crisis, J.N.T. Sports Welfare Foundation took the lead in bringing together industrialists to address challenges and explore solutions. The event featured Janab Zafar Yunus Sareshwala, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University and a prominent business leader from Gujarat, as the Chief Spokesperson. Dr. Anant Bhagwat and Dr. Rama Singh also presided over the discussions, with leading industrialists of Kanpur in attendance.
Through these efforts, we remain dedicated to fostering social development, economic progress, and community well-being, staying true to our commitment to creating a better society.
